BECOME A CUDDLE PRACTITIONER
Learn from industry-leading experts from our medical and wellness advisory board, in our comprehensive training course. Our course is dual-accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), who’ve classed Nordic Cuddle as a Centre of Excellence, and by the International Council for Online Educational Standards (ICOES).
As a self-employed cuddle practitioner, you can choose your own hours and decide whether you’d like to work part-time or full-time. Our course includes information about how to set yourself up for a successful (UK) career in cuddle therapy.
1. Programme Purchase
Buy our course today and complete both the theory and practical elements. The purchase cost of the online theory course is £129 and the cost of the practical session is £110. Both are non-refundable.
2. Listing on the Nordic Cuddle Website
Upon completing and passing both the theory and practical elements of the course, Nordic Cuddle will consider your suitability for listing as a practitioner (London-based only). Please note that completion of the course doesn’t guarantee a listing on the platform. Contact us for the current fees and charges applicable. A valid DBS check and insurance will be required at this point.
3. Ongoing Support & Training
Nordic Cuddle has built a cuddle therapy support forum for our practitioners. In addition, we also run in-person refresher training sessions for our existing practitioners to share ongoing best practice.
Nordic Cuddle’s dual-accredited course is comprised of theory and practical elements, and each trainee must complete and pass evaluations for each element. The course can be studied at your own pace and more information is available here. After completing the course, we’ll consider your suitability for listing as a practitioner. Please note that you’ll be required to provide a DBS check, before this takes place. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is a way to identify whether someone holds a criminal record, which therapists obtain for their client’s peace of mind, and can be purchased here.
1. Expert Contributors
Our course contributors include Professor Kory Floyd, Dr. Juulia Suvilehto, Dr. Emilia Vuorisalmi, Dr. Liliya Wheatcraft, Dr. Betty Martin and Deb Dana.
2. Accredited Course
As an additional mark of quality, our course is accredited by both the CMA, where we also hold full Training School Membership, and the International Council for Online Educational Standards (ICOES).
3. CMA Benefits
After successfully completing this course, you’ll be eligible to apply for Full Membership of The Complementary Medical Association for an additional fee, which will entitle you to use the letters MCMA after your name.
